Olbia. The Musical Band “F. Mibelli” of Olbia is pleased to invite citizens to the summer concert entitled “A Midsummer Night”, which will be held Saturday 22 June 2024 at 9.00 pm at the MUSMAT in Via Roma.
The event promises to be an unforgettable evening, full of music and magic under the stars. The president of the association, Franco Demontis, together with the artistic and musical director Maestro Emiliano De Marco, the board of directors and all the musicians, have worked hard to offer a varied program that can satisfy all musical tastes.
“The concert program”, declares Maestro De Marco, “will range from original band music to light music and jazz”. The evening will see the traditional band, composed of wind instruments and percussion, enriched by talented musicians: Prof. Salvatore Atzei on electric bass, Prof. Stefano Petrosino on electric guitar, Prof. William Jefferson on digital piano and the splendid voice of soprano Roberta Turrini. This combination of instruments and voices promises to create a unique and immersive musical experience for all in attendance. The Musical Band “F. Mibelli” expresses heartfelt thanks to the municipal administration of Olbia for its continued support. Particular thanks go to the mayor Dr. Settimo Nizzi and to the councilor for culture and deputy mayor Dr. Sabrina Serra, who reiterated their commitment and lasting support to the city band. Thanks to their collaboration, the band can continue to grow and offer the community moments of great cultural and social value.
