Senator Irto comments on Enzo Romeo’s victory, to whom he extends his congratulations, and launches the challenge to the regional centre-right
«Best wishes to the city of Vibo Valentia for having chosen change and to Enzo Romeo for having built with passion, willpower and competence the victory of the centre-left, historic and significant after 15 years of municipal management by the centre-right».
This was stated in a note by Senator Nicola Irto, secretary of the Democratic Party of Calabria, who continues: «Historical leader of the Democratic Party, Romeo was able to interpret the desire of the Vibo community to leave the past behind and imagine a modern city and inclusive of services, rights and the welfare state.
Romeo was able to analyze local problems and offer concrete solutions and perspectives, distinguishing himself in political reasoning and maintaining a great capacity for dialogue.
In the end, our project prevailed, confirming that teamwork, involvement and alternatives in individual territories always pay off.
As is evident, we are regenerating the Democratic Party with constant and daily grassroots work, made up of meetings and insights, real listening and discussion.”
