sA success far beyond the expectations of the Organizing Committee and the Orinese Cycling Society that of Varese Van Vlaanderen 2024: over 391 cyclists set off from FeStiAmo Park in Cittiglio to tackle the three planned routes (two for randonneurs and one for gravellists).
21 walls to climb on the path of 105 kilometers which put the pedalers to the test. A success also dictated by some particularities of this event which took place for the fourth time in Alfredo Binda’s hometown: the goody bag was particularly appreciatedas well as i five refreshments provided and attention to celiac athletes with a refreshment area dedicated to them (absolute novelty for cycling in Lombardy).
The athletes were also able to enjoy the numerous panoramic points before returning to Cittiglio, collect the certificate of participation and attend the award ceremony for the largest groups with the trophy dedicated to the memory of Massimo Minelli which was assigned to Campo dei Fiori Cycling Group which prevailed over the National Group and Team Funtos Bike. The mayor of Cittiglio Rossella Magnani he then made the appointment for June 15, 2025.
