The president of our association Gilberto Luppi concludes:

The delay in the recovery of international trade contributes to the slowdown in Italian manufacturing. Furthermore, businesses have been hindered in their investments by the rising cost of money: we welcome the ECB’s decision to begin the process of lowering reference rates, but more needs to be done. The signals coming from the trend of exports and demand for work require us to strengthen our commitment to create a favorable context for doing business: reduction of tax pressure, fight against bureaucracy, containment of public administration costs, better access to credit , efficient public services and infrastructures, rapid justice and welfare attentive to the new needs of citizens and entrepreneurs.
