What a success for the Agricultural Fair. Yesterday a special weekend ended in the city, among traditions, animals and zero kilometer products. For the twelfth time, Imola welcomed many exhibitors, in the company of cattle, donkeys and other animals that animated the park of the Sante Zennaro complex, an area of 4,000 covered square meters and 60,000 uncovered.
Yesterday, after the inauguration with a ribbon cutting on Friday and an excellent turnout on Saturday, citizens and the little ones were able to experience various activities, from hand milking to literary trebbo, through conferences, show cooking, parades, musical reviews, popular dances, cooking workshops and demonstrations.
From the early hours of the morning, with free admission, citizens and other people from outside Imola began to attend the agricultural fair. This important event is organized by the Municipality, with the councilor for Economic Development and Agriculture Pierangelo Raffini and with the deputy mayor Fabrizio Castellari. Important roles also for Giordano Zambrini, president of the Canale dei Mulini Consortium, and for the representatives of the various agricultural associations. Bishop Giovanni Mosciatti was also present at the inauguration on Friday afternoon.
At the fair, thanks to the collaboration with Hera, natural and sparkling water was provided free of charge with the ‘Urban Source’, a way to avoid the circulation of disposable plastic bottles.
