I feel very heartbroken and disappointed. I tried to speed up the process by also contacting the inmates’ guarantor, I urged the prison to pay greater attention, I tried to move the judges to pity, but all this was useless, because Giuseppe did not have the strength to wait. He was killed by the State, by the lengthy proceedings and by the negligence of the prison institution.”(dp)
