Tragedy, tonight, ad Angri, where a 35-year-old boy, Mario Carotenuto, was found dead in a pool of blood on the sidewalk in via Risi. The Carabinieri from the Scientific Department of the Nocera Inferiore Command arrived on site, seized the body and carried out the first findings, starting the investigation immediately.
The investigation
The Nocera Inferiore Prosecutor’s Office has ordered an autopsy on the body of the young man, who appears to have been injured with various blows, but also by one or more gunshots. This is the hypothesis that is gaining ground in the investigative environment after the medical examiner’s visit. Hypothesis that will become certainty only after the medico-legal tests expected in the next few hours are carried out. What is certain at the moment is that the 35-year-old, a drug addict already known to the police, died in a few minutes due to the depth of his injuries: after the blows received, the man staggered for about thirty meters before collapsing to the ground in the middle of the night. First aid arrived when it was too late. The deputy prosecutor Michele Migliardi ordered the transfer of the body to the “Umberto I” hospital in Nocera Inferiore. However, the trail of the murder is followed. The most accepted hypothesis at the moment is that the attack arose following a quarrel or a simple argument that took place in the nightlife venues of Angra. The cameras in the area are also being examined by the military.
