The scorching heat is arriving in the capital and in the rest of Lazio. As the experts at 3BMeteo.com inform, from the beginning of the week from 17 to 23 June, temperatures will begin to rise more and more until reaching, in some areas, even 40 degrees.
The scorching heat is coming to Rome
The increase in values is caused by the African anticyclone, which will occupy the Mediterranean basin for the next few summer weeks, involving the entire country and in particular, at least in the first few days, Southern and Central Italy. The peak is expected for the middle of the week, therefore between Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th June with temperatures that could reach if not exceed 40 degrees, even in Rome.
Peaks of 40°C mid-week
On Monday 17 June in Rome and in the rest of Lazio temperatures will slightly increase between 30 and 33°C, on Tuesday 18 June they could reach 36°C while the highest values are expected on Wednesday 19 June. In Central Italy, especially in the southern areas, temperatures can reach up to 38°C, the most acute phase of the cando. Peaks of 40/41°C will be recorded especially on the islands and in Puglia. Thursday 20th and Friday 21st June scorching temperatures, even 40°C in Rome.
