MERCATALE (SAN CASCIANO) – Super edition of the Mercatale Steak Championship which ended yesterday, Saturday 15 June.
In the two days dedicated to meat, Chianti Classico wine and after-dinner fun, Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June, in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, there were approximately 2,500 attendees.
This year’s edition is also dedicated to the memory of the former mayor of San Casciano, Massimiliano Pesciniwho passed away on May 25th.
Mercatalino doc, Pescini was remembered by a banner placed on the Lotti Centre, with one of his phrases (“Alone we go fast… but together we go far”) and a big “Thank you”.
