Giulivi: “With the left we would go back 30 years”

Today the possibility of ties expires in view of the run-off between Giulivi and Sposetti scheduled for 23 and 24 June. Sposetti immediately announces that there will be no tie, Giulivi will report soon and announces that if he wins, Sposetti’s board will be erased.

Back and forth between the two challengers

The Sposetti coalition responds ironically: “Will it erase the blackboard? It is a clear sign of youthful reminiscences and of an unresolved relationship with his school attendance.” The blackboard in question is the one that Sposetti left blank for citizens to write down their needs. “Citizens have already expressed themselves clearly – states Francesco Sposetti in view of the run-off -, strongly demonstrating their desire for change. A recent bill, then withdrawn, provided that if 40% was reached there should not be a run-off, since the choice expressed by the voters was clear.”

The results for the June 23-24 run-off will be made today

“Our commitment today – say his supporters – is aimed at bringing back those who voted for us in the first round to vote, certain that perhaps other citizens, previously positioned differently, will now choose Sposetti. His cheerfulness combined with competence, professionalism, reliability, ability to communicate with people, have positively influenced Tarquinia in recent months, spreading a lot of positive energy, community, strong planning and human relations”.

Giulivi: “With the left we would go back 30 years”

Instead, he attacks Giulivi fervently: “With the left in command, Tarquinia would go back 30 years. A civic council only on paper, but largely composed of representatives of the Pd, M5s and the Left Green Alliance, will first of all lead to the Municipality having a mayor hostage to the continuous requests of the various parties. On the ‘blackboard’ of ideas, you can read some of the things that the left intends to erase and which will make our city regress; to give an example, that of definitively eliminating the project on the Cala degli Etruschi tourist port: see the recent position taken by the Italian Left which judged the project ‘economically unsustainable, pharaonic and unattractive’”.
