Serious road accident this morning, Sunday 16 June, in Grazzanisein the province of Caserta: the balance is four people injured; among these an entire family, made up of father, mother and their son. The accident occurred around 10.30 this morning, on provincial road 3, in the direction of Capua: for reasons that are still being ascertained, a Kia and a Fiat Punto collided; after the impact, one of the cars ended the race at the edge of the road, while the other crashed into a concrete pole on the side of the road.
The firefighters of the Mondragone detachment and the 118 health workers immediately intervened on site and worked to provide aid to the four injured people, who were then transported by ambulances to the Sant’Anna and San Sebastiano hospitals in Caserta and Pineta Grande in Castel Volturno. Subsequently, the firefighters proceeded to make the vehicles involved in the accident safe.
The police also went to the scene to carry out all the necessary investigations necessary to determine the exact dynamics of the accident, which as mentioned is still unclear.
