At dawn this morning there was an extraordinary search at the Avellino prison which saw the participation of around 80 units of penitentiary police personnel also coming from other institutions. The search led to the discovery of narcotics and mobile phones. As Tiziana Guacci, secretary for Campania of the Autonomous Penitentiary Police Union, explains, during the search there were moments of tension despite the large number of officers present.
