GROSSETO – Fear this morning, 16 June 2024, due to the car fire on the Aurelia state road at km 173+600 near the hamlet of Rispescia, in the province of Grosseto. For reasons currently under investigation, the car with two young people on board, a man and a woman living in Turin, suddenly caught fire while traveling on the north lane of the SS1.
When the fire brigade team arrived on site, the two occupants were out of the vehicle unharmed, but the car was already engulfed in flames, so they took steps to put out the fire which risked spreading to the vegetation at the edges of the road, partly already burned.
Staff from the Grosseto Carabinieri radiomobile were on site to manage the traffic interrupted during the firefighting operations and Anas staff.
