Paolo Fresu and Rita Marcotulli, on Wednesday 19 June, cut the ribbon on the summer edition of the Sannio Music Fest.
Everything is ready for the summer edition of Sannio Music Fest and, therefore, everything is ready for a summer of great music in Benevento! Wednesday 19 June PAOLO FRESU (trumpet – flugelhorn – effects) & RITA MARCOTULLI (piano – effects), in fact, they will cut the ribbon on the fourth edition with an unmissable concert which will be held at 9.00 pm at the Roman Theatre.
The two icons of Italian jazz will give life to a concert not to be missed; “a concert of those that are useful to the head but to be allowed to descend into the heart”; an evening that has everything it takes to fascinate and conquer the general public who will be enchanted by the famous Mediterranean touch of the two great interpreters of contemporary music.
What they have in common is certainly the search for beauty, for musical art, sometimes recreated in a simple, direct, acoustic way; sometimes filtered by a pinch of electronics; Fresu and Marcotulli have well in mind the ability to improvise and conquer unexpected territories; they have in mind the jazz that made them grow and especially all that is good music. Theirs is a meeting made of grace, sensitivity and emotions, architected with wisdom and proposed with style and elegance.
The event, then, still reserves many unmissable concerts which will be held between the Roman Theater and the Events Area of the Hortus Conclusus; among these we remember the absolute event of July 23rd, protagonists CHIARA CIVELLO and the Medit Orchestra directed by Maestro Angelo Valori.
