The Flying Squad of Bologna he tracked down a 38 year old citizen of Ukrainewith a police record, seriously suspected of the murder committed inside the house in via Ferrareseagainst another 40-year-old compatriot, the bricklayer Roman Matvieiev.
Deep wounds and then died in hospital: the victim was 40 years old
The latter was found on June 15th lying on a chair with various wounds on his body and head: he was taken to the Maggiore hospital where he was emergency surgery with evidence of trauma to the belly resulting in the removal of the spleen and fracture of the skull. The man later died.

During the personal search, the forensic police immediately intervened on site some footprints were detected attributable to the arrested person, whose participation in the crime was confirmed by the acquisition of some cameras present who immortalized the arrival of the man armed with a blunt object in the building where the victim lived, and coming out after a few minutes with some obvious traces of blood on his arm.
