Ugo Galli’s appeal: “Behind these characters lie ancient puppeteers”
Dear fellow citizens,
I’m Ugo Galli and I’m involved in the run-off round (the next round will be on Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th June) which will decide who will be the Mayor of our beloved Manfredonia.
I turn to you, to all of you citizens who care about the future of our city and I ask you to go and vote, not to give up being protagonists in the election of the Mayor who will lead Manfredonia in the coming years.
I ask you to exercise your right to vote which is also a duty of participation. We are all involved: no one must turn their back on the City.
I ask you to support me and stand together to counter the nefarious but real possibility that the Municipality is put in the hands of new characters behind whom hide ancient puppeteers who, for over twenty years, have determined, often failing, the fate of the City and which, today, propose to return to subjugate our Manfredonia.
We must remember what our administrative history tells us. We must mobilize, free ourselves and oppose a scheme proposed by the left once again united, this time around a “Trojan horse”.
It is not lost on anyone that it is precisely that political party that has created the serious problems that afflict our community (we are still paying the consequences harshly), and yet they propose to remedy it, knowingly ignoring the fact that they were the creators of this disaster.
My appeal is addressed to all liberal and moderate, identitarian and committed citizens, to civil society, to young people, to those who are the historical memory of Siponto, to respectable people, to all those for whom LEGALITY, LOYALTY and TRANSPARENCY are not just words but beacons that guide action.
I address those who do not forget how and why we got to this point.
We must turn the page with Confidence, we must write a new history of Manfredonia.
We must start again from the shared and founding values of our community. We must join forces and together revive the fortunes of our city. No one should be left behind, we can all do it together.
