Specifically, on the Tyrrhenian coast, progressively increasing clouds with light rain in the afternoon. Lightens in the evening; on the Ionian coast, the southern coast and inland areas, initially slightly or partially cloudy skies but with increasing cloud cover starting from the afternoon; on the Apennines skies initially not very cloudy but with cloud cover, sometimes compact, in the central hours of the day with associated light rain. It lightens in the evening.
Weak winds from the north-western quadrants attenuating and rotating to the south-western quadrants. Lower Tyrrhenian Sea rough; Channel and Sicilian Sea not very rough.

Temperatures remain essentially stationary in Scilia but very high peaks in Syracuse with the mercury column expected to reach 37 degrees.
30 degrees are expected in Agrigento, 30 in Caltanissetta, 34 in Catania, 28 in Enna, 33 in Messina, 28 in Palermo, 31 in Ragusa, 37 in Syracuse, 26 in Trapani.
In the rest of Italy
North. Pressure increases further over the regions therefore the day will pass with a prevalence of dry weather, but the sky will be cloudy at times. Only the possibility of some quick afternoon precipitation in the Alpine sectors, generally of modest magnitude, should be noted. Weak winds from the southern quadrants, pleasant warm weather.
Center and Sicily. The pressure is rather stable over our regions, but on this day the sky will be very cloudy or even overcast in Sardinia. Rapid precipitation, at times even thunderstorms, cannot be ruled out in the eastern sectors. Over the rest of the sectors, cloud cover will be present, but less widespread. The winds will blow weakly from the southern quadrants. Summer climate.
South and Sicily. The African anticyclone is strengthening in our regions, therefore on this day there will be general dry weather conditions. The sky will be irregularly cloudy at times, in the afternoon locally even overcast especially in Campania and Basilicata. The winds will be light and blow from the south. The seas will be calm. The climate will be hot summer.
Monday 17 June
The high pressure continues on our Region. Stable and sunny weather everywhere. Specifically, on the Tyrrhenian coast, the Ionian coast, the southern coast, on the Apennines and inland areas, mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies for the entire day.
Weak winds from the north-eastern quadrants attenuating and rotating to the south-western quadrants. Lower Tyrrhenian Sea: rough to slightly rough; Channel and Sicilian Sea not very rough.
North. Pressure that tends to increase. The day will see rather stable weather conditions almost everywhere, with clear or at most slightly cloudy skies. In the Alpine sectors, between morning and afternoon, sudden showers may break out, locally of strong intensity, which could even reach towards the Pre-Alps. Winds from the southern quadrants, seas generally not very rough.
Center and Sardinia. A robust African high pressure field, the Minos anticyclone, begins to impose itself on the central regions; and so the day will pass under rather stable and sunny weather everywhere. Of note is the possibility of rapid rain in the internal areas of Lazio and Molise. On Sardinia, all sun and summer climate. Winds from the northern quadrants, calm or slightly rough seas.
South and Sicily. Here comes the anticyclone Minos: the day will consequently be largely stable and sunny everywhere, from morning until evening. The winds will come from the northern quadrants, while the seas will be calm or at most slightly rough. Good weather also prevailed in Sicily thanks to the constant presence of the African anticyclone Minos.
