Never seen so many sets open in the Marche and in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in particular. It is the sign of a new rebirth of cinema which was analyzed during the second focus of the morning at Astra as part of the conference organized by CNA Cinema and Audiovisivo Marche with the eloquent title “Marche cinema, Ciak si gira!”, the point on independent cinema. “Thanks – said Alessandro Tarabelli, spokesperson for Cna Cinema and Audiovisivo Marche in his speech – to the combined action of the Marche Culture Foundation, the Marche Film Commission and the Region who wanted to bet on cinema as a promotion of the territory”.
“Our task – Andrea Agostini, president of the Foundation and Francesco Gesualdi of the Marche Film Commission, said in their speeches – is to support the audiovisual production of the Marche and promote it to make this region increasingly attractive also to large productions that create job opportunities After all, we have natural settings that everyone envies; there is everything within a few kilometers: sea, mountains, hills, history.” And there are virtuous examples of what cinema from the Marche region can achieve. Like the film “Neve” by director Simone Riccioni which in one week beat the American blockbuster Dune part two in takings. Or like Matteo Gagliardi who with his “Mirabile Visione: Inferno” achieved dizzying numbers thanks to the screening for students. At the end, the trailers of companies from the Marche region associated with CNA were screened: “La Spiaggia dei Gabbiani” by Claudio Pauri; “Free Animal” by Henry Secchiaroli; “Daniele Baldelli. A cosmic life” by Alessandro Tesei and “Beauty and secrets of women” by Rita Giancola in the presence of the entire cast. Finally Mr. Hope, inspired by Horwell’s 1984 by the Pesaro director Tommaso D’Andrea.
