Mayor Mastella and the Councilor for Public Works Mario Pasquariello announce that the Municipality of Benevento has obtained a loan of 2 million 160 thousand euros as part of mission 4 – Education and Research – of the Pnrr for the conversion of an existing building into a kindergarten nest.
“With these resources – explain mayor Mastella and councilor Pasquariello – we will recover a wing of the institute in via Grimoaldo Re, currently closed. We will be able to allocate it to a nursery with 108 places. This will join the existing nursery schools in Pacevecchia, Rione Libertà and the one soon to open in Capodimonte. In this way the training offer expands in a strategic neighborhood such as Rione Ferrovia, with the surrounding districts and all the main districts of the city will be served by this important service for families.
In this way we hope to also contribute to stopping the demographic winter which here, as in the entire country, is causing a heavy demographic decline, facilitating a more serene management of the work-family combination. And this also testifies to the exceptional work carried out on the Pnrr, already highlighted with the record in the relationship between investments and resident population”.
