MARTINSICURO. Payment for parking on the Truentino coast starts from today until 15 September, for 93 days. There are around 700 blue stalls where it will be necessary to pay for parking, with costs that have not increased compared to last year. The Umbrian company that has contracted the service for the two-year period 2022-2024 has recently positioned the parking meters that issue the payment receipt: this will have to be positioned on the dashboard of the vehicles to prevent the controllers from issuing the relevant administrative fine. There are three controllers, hired by the company that manages the service, who will cover approximately six kilometers of paid parking. The fine for violators is 29.40 euros, the fines will be processed and issued by the local police. There are two sections where you will not pay for parking, at both ends of the coast: in the northern seafront of Martinsicuro the car park at the roundabout in front of the mouth of the Tonto river and in the Italy seafront of Villa Rosa the stretch from the intersection with via Filzi to the roundabout in front of the mouth of the Vibrata river. There will also be a charge for the streets Capri, dei Pini, Las Palmas, the car park at the intersection of the Europa seafront with Via Leopardi in Martinsicuro and the one at the intersection of the seafront with Via Fregene in the hamlet.
The hourly rate is 0.60 euros and the daily rate is four euros, both issued by the parking meter (where you can also pay by credit card). The weekly pass is 15 euros, issued by the parking meter or by the municipal offices, and the monthly pass is 50 euros, issued by the municipal offices exclusively for a single vehicle showing the license plate and the reference month. There is a discounted rate of 35 euros per month, and 70 euros for the entire season, for vehicles registered in the name of residents of the municipality of Martinsicuro and owners of commercial activities based on the seafronts of Martinsicuro and Villa Rosa. The season ticket is issued by the local police with the interested party’s obligation to show a copy of the registration document in order to verify the registration. Motor vehicles used for police and fire services, ambulances and vehicles serving the disabled are exempt from the obligation to pay, even if positioned in paid parking spaces, provided that the relevant sign is displayed and the vehicle is actually used for the transport of disabled people, as well as loading/unloading vehicles, if positioned in the appropriate parking spaces highlighted in yellow and for the maximum time allowed, and vehicles belonging to public bodies or public service companies, exclusively for service reasons .
