The FIT Kinder+Sport Tennis Trophy arrives in Potenza. A stop from today to June 30th

Master Giovanni Ostuni

The FIT Kinder+Sport Tennis Trophy is an event that has around 100 stages throughout Italy, from Aosta to Catania, and sees the participation of thousands of girls and boys aged 8 to 16. It was born as a competition circuit coordinated by the former Italian champion Rita Grande in collaboration with Kinder+Sport and, thanks to the great interest aroused in the world of youth competitions, it was included by the Italian Tennis Federation in its technical program with the aim of bringing new generations to the culture of the movement by spreading values of personal growth, education and sociability.

At the Tennis Trophy, which ends with the National Master at the Foro Italico in Rome intended for the winners and finalists of each stage, the young tennis players have the opportunity to meet the champions of the red clay.

The Potenza stage is organized by TC Gingles Potenza led by National Master Giovanni Ostuni. This is the only stage in the region and will take place at the sports facility of the FITP Basilicata Regional Committee, located in Via Racioppi in Potenza, from 15 to 30 June.

Statement from the Ostuni coach: “For TC Gingles the international Kinder+Sport event is a consolidated event: this, in fact, is the sixteenth year that we have organized it. For us it is a real honor to be able to offer the city of Potenza a week of sport where athletes of the same age compete on a path of both sporting and personal growth. It is a very important sporting and social action, developing the youth sector, especially after such a delicate and particular period caused by the pandemic.”
