Padua-Cesena, 30 years later: today at Appiani the party to remember the promotion to Serie A
Appointment today Saturday 15 June at the Appiani stadium, which in turn recently celebrated thirty years since its last official first team match, where there will certainly be many fans eager to relive this special “amarcord”. Today we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the playoff won by the biancoscudati with Cesena which earned them their last promotion to Serie A. It will start around 5pm with a match between the under 13s of Padova and Montagnana, followed by 6.30pm the most awaited one between the Padova Legends, the team made up of the protagonists of Cremona supported by other former players, and a team made up of representatives of the organized fans. The presence announced, just to name a few, of Franceschetti, Coppola, Tentoni, Longhi, Montrone, Bonaiuti and Ottoni. A charity auction of replicas of the shirts worn in the play-off in Cremona will follow at 8pm with the proceeds going to the pediatric hospital of Padua. There will be background music and a drink-food bar that is always open.
