Terni Hospital, the regulation of intra-moenia freelance professional activity is also being addressed. On Thursday the general director Andrea Casciari signed the act for approval after the preliminary work of the person responsible for the procedure, Andrea Lorenzoni. Reason? The regulatory changes that have occurred over time and the reorganization of the company structure.

The board of auditors took care of pressing on the issue with two minutes of March 12th and, more recently, of May 29th: the hospital company was invited «to remodulate and update the regulation on intramoenia – also in more than the drafting of the regional guidelines – to make it a useful tool for reducing waiting lists and more consistent with the legislation that leads to the determination of the tariff”. To do this, a joint technical table was set up also with the representation of the trade unions. The one in force was adopted with a resolution dated 29 January 2015. Almost ten years later, we are revisiting the issue.
«The intramoenia freelance professional activity – the introduction – is the professional activity of the managers of the healthcare role with an exclusive employment relationship with the Santa Maria di Terni hospital, exercised in favor of the patient who bears the costs directly or through a paying third party (insurance, supplementary health funds, public and private companies), outside of working hours, according to the legislative and contractual regulations in force”. Article 4 recalls that the services that cannot be provided under the intramoenia regime are those provided «in emergency and emergency rooms, without prejudice to the services purchased by the company» and «hospitalizations in intensive and sub-intensive care services without prejudice to the services purchased by the agency”.
