The time has come for the Italian national team to take to the field. Today, Saturday 15 June, the European Championships begin for Luciano Spalletti’s boys. A challenge to which Italy presents itself as reigning champions, after the victory at Euro 2020 with coach Roberto Mancini. 24 teams are participating in the group stage of the tournament, divided into six groups of four. The group stage will last from 14 to 26 June and will see the top two in each group advance to the next round (the round of 16), plus the four best third-placed teams.
When Italy plays
Italy finished in group B, together with Spain, Croatia and Albania. Below are all the matches that the national team will play in the coming weeks:
- Saturday 15 June at 9pm: Italy-Albania
- Thursday 20 June at 9pm: Spain-Italy
- Monday 24 June at 9pm: Croatia-Italy
Where to watch the games
All matches of the 2024 European Championships will be broadcast on Sky and streamed on Now and SkyGo. Rai will broadcast all Italy’s matches free-to-air and one or two matches per day during the group stage and the round of 16. All matches from the quarter-finals onwards will be available free-to-air on Rai Uno or Rai Due.
