More extraordinary joint checks in Forlì this week. As part of the services to combat urban decay arranged by the Police Commissioner Claudio Mastromattei, on Friday afternoon crews from the State Police and the Guardia di Finanza patrolled the historic center of Forlì extensively, carrying outidentification of 72 people, of which 23 have criminal and police records.
During the service, the patrons of 5 hospitality businesses in the neighborhood adjacent to Corso Mazzini were also checked. As last week, the foot patrol in the area with the anti-drug dog unit of the State Police made available by the Bologna Police Headquarters bore fruit: in via Gaudenzi, the German shepherd Barack’s nose made it possible to find 23.47 grams of hashish, already packaged, ready for sale and well hidden. This time, however, policemen and financiers managed to collect sufficient elements to identify the “owner” of the narcotic, who will be referred to the judicial authorities.
The extraordinary services on Friday were preceded by those on Wednesday evening, during which the crews of the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Local Police checked around forty people, proceeding to identify and sanction a person in a clear state of drunkenness. During the service they also intervened to break up a dispute, in which a person was reported for injuries.
