Confcommercio Verona warns of the possible repercussions caused by the maxi construction site of over a year on Via XX Settembre.

This is the comment of the president of Confcommercio Verona Paolo Arena to the announcement of the works which will start at the end of the year.
“Interventions impacting citizens and commercial activities like the one in via XX Settembre deserve a preliminary study to harmonize the different phases of the work and ensure minimal inconvenience; a concertation which, unfortunately, once again did not take place”, adds Arena.
“In reiterating the need to provide certain and non-possible support to companies that will suffer the inconvenience of the works for at least 14 months – adds the general director of Confcommercio Verona Nicola Dal Dosso – we hope that it will be started immediately a table with economic representatives to update on progress and monitoring of the operations before the start and for their entire duration”.
“It would be appropriate – concludes president Arena – that the planned crackdown on the Ztl would only leave once the works on via XX Settembre are finished.”
