Sitting Volley, Roberto Dalmasso from Cuneo called up to the national team

Great enthusiasm at Acqua S.Bernardo Cuneo for the call-up of Roberto Dalmasso by the Italian men’s Sitting Volleyball team for the Silver Nations League which will be held from 28 to 30 June in St. Peter in Slovenia.

The player from Cuneo, together with the rest of the Italian squad, will be managed by coach Alireza Moameri, assisted by coach Marcello Marchesi, doctor Mauro Guicciardi, physiotherapist Antonella Iemma and team manager Matteo De Robertis.

These are the Azzurri called up by coach Alireza Moameri: Mattia Cordioli (ASD Cus Verona); Cristiano Crocetti, Federico Ripani, Luca Vallasciani (Fermana ASD Volleyball School); Roberto Dalmasso (Cuneo Volley); Michele Emanuele Di Ielsi (ASD Termoli Volleyball); Claudiu Daniel Farcas (Gioco Parma ASD); Gregorio Guzzo (ASD Volley Palermo); Sergio Ignoto, Paolo Mangiacapra (ASD Nola Città dei Gigli); Alessandro Issi, Fabio Marsiliani (ASD Fiano Romano Volleyball); Davide Nadai (ASD Alta Resa).

This call, in addition to making the entire movement and management very proud, we hope will encourage new athletes. The team will continue training throughout the month of June with doors open to get closer and try playing Sitting Volleyball. There are no age limits and disabled and able-bodied people can play together, in full inclusiveness. We look forward to seeing you every Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30pm to 10.30pm at the Ronchi gym. Furthermore, tournaments to participate in are being considered.
