With over 20 thousand preferences between Messina and the province (between Sicily and Sardinia he obtained some 47,571) Bernadette Grasso it is also the most voted on the Forza Italia list and receives, beyond the personal result, the satisfaction from provincial coordinator of the party to see the blues thanks to a 20.42% one step away from the Libertà list (which received 21.71%) in defiance of those who believed the Berlusconi supporters were on their way out.

Instead FI doesn’t just smile but consider the outcome of the polls just the beginning. The blue regional deputy, former regional councilor for Local Authorities, is also the most voted on the Forza Italia list in the municipality of Messina (with 3,375 preferences). But above all it is that “breath down the neck” that the Forza Italia supporters put in Cateno De Luca, in an electoral campaign which saw him spend himself (even risking his health) to strengthen his role, which lays the foundations for looking at a center right determined to look straight ahead to the 2027 administrative elections.

I think the Sicilians and the people of Messina have decided to choose the moderates. Forza Italia is returning to represent that balance and center of the center right that Italy needs. Berlusconi believed in this capacity for aggregation and Tajani also demonstrated that he is a European statesman.”.
PRESENCE IN THE TERRITORY
More than commenting on his personal result, the result of one presence rooted in the territory and many years of experience in administering and listening to the requests of the communities (also as a regional councilor as well as as an Ars deputy), Bernadette Grasso focuses on the data of the party at the provincial level and which will not go unnoticed.
“When the lists are made well, with attention and with teamwork, the results are achieved and rewarded by the citizens”. And for those who, like her, are among the blue pioneers in Sicily, seeing the rise of the party gives a little more satisfaction because it has sown well. The moderate party, of those who shy away from shouting and populism are becoming attractive again (and driving the national percentage) even on that side of the Strait where just two years ago Cateno De Luca led to the election of a mayor in the first round. The warning to sailors of these polls also comes (and strongly) from the blue troops.
