So even the welcome comes alive. Two hundred guests, 10 hotels involved. And students come from various cities

On the occasion of the sixtieth edition of the Venice International Film Festival, approximately two hundred guests are expected in the city. An event that attracts many enthusiasts of the sector every year, so much so that on this occasion there will be around ten Pesaro hotels involved in hosting the people who will take part in the event and who will arrive from outside the city. Some of the illustrious guests will stay at the Chiarlie hotel, as happened with Sergio Castellitto, who yesterday was guest of honor for the inauguration day of the Pesaro event.

The other hotels that will be affected by the attendance expected for the event are certainly the Savoy, the Bellevue and the Ambassador hotel, all present in the seaside area. Also expected in the city, as every year, are cinema students from the various Italian universities, given that one of the main characteristics of the Pesaro International New Cinema Exhibition is precisely that of organizing lectures, workshops and meetings aimed specifically at them . In this case, the students arriving in the city will instead be hosted for the occasion at the Capitol hotel. In addition to Castellitto, who yesterday took a walk through the streets of the city center where he was able to appreciate the artistic beauties of the city, we are waiting to find out if any guests of the Film Festival will be able to stay a little longer in Pesaro to being able to visit some places of culture on the occasion of Pesaro Capitale.

Tomorrow Ficarra and Picone are expected in Piazza del Popolo, who will meet the public and present one of their most applauded directorial titles: “Summer time”.

After Castellitto and Ficarra and Picone, the cinema section in Piazza del Popolo will host two other great faces of Italian cinema of our time: Jasmine Trinca, who will be at the exhibition on Monday 17th and Valentina Lodovini, who will be in Pesaro on Tuesday 18th June. Enzo D’Alò, one of the greatest protagonists of animated cinema, is expected on Thursday 20th, while the guest for the closing of the festival, Saturday 22nd June, will be Luca Guadagnino, who will receive the special prize for the 60th edition and for Pesaro Italian Capital of Culture 2024. The recognition was born from the festival’s desire to reward the most international Italian director and most linked to the idea of ”new cinema”.
