Staff of the Flying Squad of Ragusa together with the staff of the Police Station of Vittoria, executed the arrest of a crime suspect issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Ragusa signed by the Deputy Public Prosecutor Dr. Martina Dall’Amico, drawn up against Zaouali Wajdi, born in Tunisia in 1993 and resident in Vittoria (RG) in Piazza Unità D’Italia n. 19.
The man, currently subjected to the security measure of Supervised Liberty for another reason, held responsible for the crimes of “multiple murder and attempted murder”, because he sprinkled flammable liquid on the parents’ bedroom, the corridor and the entrance of the aforementioned house permanently occupied by his father, mother and sisters and by setting fire with a lighter, he caused the death of his mother Sassi Mariem and his sister Zaouali Samah due to the serious burns they suffered, he also carried out acts suitable and directed in an unequivocal way to cause the death of his father Zaouali Kamel and sister Zaouali Omaima; event did not occur for reasons beyond his control, as the neighbors and workers intervened to help..
Once the formalities had been completed, Zaouali Wajdi was associated with the Ragusa prison, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
