The Marche region is ready to welcome the Women of Wine of Italy for the national convention. The region has in fact been chosen as the location for the annual meeting to be held from June 20th to 24th.
A traveling program that will involve all the provinces and will provide the opportunity for promotion and training. “You will discover Le Marche ad infinitum” is the name of the program you will travel through Ascoli Piceno, Recanati, Jesi, Senigallia, Pesaro (Italian Capital of Culture 2024), Genga, Fabriano, Loreto and Ancona with the Conero Riviera. “The new frontiers of wine, between culture, tourism and well-being” is the title of the national conference organized at the Palazzo Ducale in Pesaro, seat of the Prefecture, on Saturday 22 June.
Among visits to wineries and cultural tours there will be, among others, also guided tours of Leopardi Houseat the Basilica of Loretoat Frasassi Cavesat the Rotonda a Mare and to Conero Riviera. To learn more about Doc and Docg, two masterclasses are planned: “The Classic Method in the Marche” and “The longest-lived white wines of the Marche”. Every convivial moment will be an opportunity to taste the native wines of the region through the productions of the Women of Wine of the Marche and to appreciate the gastronomic tradition.
