This morning, Councilor Roberto Greci received Luigi Margio from Elpidio to congratulate him on behalf of the entire Municipal Administration on the successes achieved at the Tournament of Freedoms of San Marino which took place on 2 June.

Luigi Margio, of the Archers of Ventura Sancto Elpidio, triumphed over the rest of the other participating associations (around 280 archers) in the historical archery test, winning the title of “Champion of Champions” and winning the prestigious gold collar of Tournament of Freedoms.

Margio is no stranger to these successes as he already won the title in the same tournament in 2019 and 2021.

“We are honored – said Councilor Greci – to seal this important milestone which also contributes to promoting the name and image of our city. I would like to extend the warmest congratulations of the entire municipal administration to Luigi also for the teaching work that he carries out to the children registered with the “Arcieri di Azzolino” association to pass on this ancient sporting discipline”.

“Emotion, dedication and spirit of sacrifice – commented Luigi Margio – there are many sensations that a competition like the one I participated in gives you, but the most beautiful thing are the people who get to know each other during the tournaments and who often turn into real and their own friendships. The next match will be on July 26th at the Quintana in Ascoli Piceno”.

Accompanying Luigi Margio today are friends belonging to the same association Massimo Riccioni and Giovanni Renzi.
