The Gratitude Festival will be held on Sunday 16 June at Casa Serena in Bellocchi. The program includes the holy mass at 4.30 pm presided over by the bishop of Fano-Fossombrone-Cagli-Pergola, mons. Andrea Andreozzi, and at 5.45 pm the dance-theatre show “La Nostra Buona Festa del Grazie” staged by the guest girls of Casa Serena. Followed by ice cream for everyone.
“Casa Serena – Don Orione” is a protected residence, which welcomes girls and women with disabilities. The reality of Casa Serena was born way back in 1939, initially as a nursery school and, subsequently, in 1962, it developed its apostolate with particular attention to girls with disabilities.
In this opening we sense the plan of God who, through the Little Missionary Sisters of Charity and lay people, wants to embrace every person, every suffering, every limitation, to bring them to God in a continuous rediscovery of the beauty and dignity of the person. In the territory and in the local Church Casa Serena tries to offer a service that evangelizes and promotes the human and Christian community through the testimony of charity around the “little ones”. At the same time it wants to be an expression and revelation of the most tender love towards our “pearls”, as Don Orione called them, designing new paths to walk together in the novelty and creativity of universal love.
