Legnano mourns the death of Valeria Vanossipresident of the Il sole nel cuore association, which works to improve the quality of life of disabled children, the elderly and vulnerable people.
Mourning for the passing of Valeria Vanossi, president of Il Sole nel cuore
She was 67 years old and passed away after a long battle with an illness which she faced with courage and tenacity, even making a spectacle of it. Vanossi was in fact the organizer of “Beautiful everywhere and anyway”, a charity and awareness-raising evening on the topic of female cancers promoted in collaboration with the Asst Ovest Milanese, of which the fourth edition was staged last October. A special evening in which cancer patients parade wearing dream dresses accompanied on the catwalk by multi-medallisted sports champions from the Carabinieri Sports Center and that of the Guardia di Finanza.
He had transformed the determination of cancer patients into a magnificent spectacle
This was what Vanossi had commented on the occasion of the presentation of the 2023 edition of the event, which took place on 12 October at the Teatro Galleria:
“For us it is a tradition, which we intend to carry on to put the emphasis on the determination and desire to live of cancer patients. Why did we want great athletes with them? To put the emphasis on the sacrifices that some make for grab the victory and get on the podium and the others to reach the goal of recovery, an even more precious podium.”
The direction of the evening was entrusted as always to Roberto Clericiorganizer of prestigious fashion events, also passed away today 14 June.

The mayor also expressed condolences for Vanossi’s death Lorenzo Radicethe deputy mayor Anna Pavan and the whole council. The first citizen declares:
“I want to remember Valeria Vanossi for the many initiatives of which, over the years, she has been a passionate creator and animator in the field of citizen volunteering. The commitment in favor of our hospital, of young people with disabilities, of women affected by cancer are only some examples of the activity of a person who was tireless in caring for others. She passed away on the same day as Roberto Clerici, with whom she curated ‘Beautiful everywhere and anyway’ for several years, the very successful event that links Health and Sport. Deepest condolences to his family.”
