ASL Roma 3 is the only company in Lazio with online booking for blood donation
The ASL Rome 3 joins the initiative promoted by the association FRATRES Group Blood Donors of Fiumicino ODV of the Misericordie D’Italia on the occasion of the ‘World Blood Donor Day: Friday 14 June, the ‘2 June Bridge’ in Fiumicino will light up in redthus renewing theappeal to collective responsibilitywith a simple but significant gesture exactly like that of donating blood.
“Donating blood can save up to three lives. We say it every day and on World Donor Day we want to reiterate it, once again drawing the attention of the citizens of our territory, who are already particularly sensitive to this issue. Thanks to their availability, in fact, the area of Ostia and Fiumicino represents a real exception in a region that has always complained of difficulties in collecting blood. In fact, Grassi is one of the 4 regional structures to be completely autonomous from this point of view”, he explains Francesca Milito, General Director of ASL Roma 3 which adds:
“We want to thank the associations, such as the FRATRES Group, promoter of the initiative also sponsored by the Municipality of Fiumicino, which play a fundamental role in promoting blood donation, organizing awareness campaigns and collections, but above all offering constant support to our structure interior of the Grassi”.
“There ASL Roma 3 is the only healthcare company in Lazio to have activated for some time, on the company website, the possibility to make a reservation for blood donation. In consideration of the great availability offered by the citizens of our territory, we also wanted to put them in the position of avoiding queues, choosing the day and time most congenial to them. All with a simple click.
