Training, record results for FIMAA training courses

Rome, 14 June. (askanews) – Record results for Fimaa Forma, the training course program that FIMAA-Confcommercio organizes for real estate agents and product brokers. In 2023, the webinars and refresher courses broadcast on YouTube attracted almost 18 thousand participants, and achieved exponential growth compared to the 10,700 registrations in 2022, and the 7,250 in 2021.

“These data – comments Santino Taverna, national president of the Italian Federation of Business Agents Mediators – confirm how important continuous training is. And they push FIMAA to continue its commitment to making business agents and mediators increasingly specialized professions”.

FIMAA’s commitment began in 2009 with the FIMAA Camp, the Professional Mediators Training Center which took place in person and which, in eleven editions, brought almost 5,000 associated agents to the classroom. In 2020 FIMAA Camp entered the FIMAA Forma program which from 2021 takes on the current webinar format. The transition to remote courses has allowed us to expand the number of participants with immediate feedback, with each lesson attracting thousands of participants.

“In the first webinars organized in 2024 – explains Maurizio Iori, FIMAA Italia Councilor with responsibility for training – we recorded an average of around 1,000 participants, and this result leads us to believe that the program will achieve further growth this year too. In fact, in 2023 we had an average of 1,485 participants per lesson, considering both the live webinars and the YouTube channel. The latter, however, guaranteed around two-thirds of the membership, given that it allows you to attend lessons at any time of the day and year. And as a result, the number of participants grows even months later.”

The Italian Federation of Business Agents Mediators has intensified its efforts and last September inaugurated together with the Faculty of Law of the University of Rome La Sapienza – at the end of a two-year course – the degree course in Law and Economics of Real Estate Property. The course has filled a serious gap in the Italian university panorama, given that until now, no path was foreseen to train professionals in one of the most important sectors of our country’s economy.
