Big moves in the works at home Varese Basketball.
If there is calm on the player transfer front, we await next week, when the first contractual issues expiring on June 30th (Moretti, McDermott, brown, for example) on off-field issues the company is more than active in looking for resources that can increase the economic availability of the red and white club in view of a season, next, which promises to be more complicated than ever to face, given the increasingly fierce competitors, see Trapani and Trieste as newly promoted teams.
The news that we anticipated yesterday goes in this double direction: the red and whites, in fact, would have open discussions with an American group, ready to bring fresh resources into the club, probably in the form of Main Sponsor, also given the difficulties linked to the operation Groupe Crit/Openjobmetis (a channel that remains open and in any case a priority for the club given the ten-year relationship behind it with the temporary employment company) which, however, to date has not given any response and the road is closed to date for a new approach with Cimberio.
But not only.
Because in addition to this operation there would be another one in the pipeline at Pallacanestro Varese, with a group of local entrepreneurs ready to join the company, also taking part of the company sharesin a new redistribution that would involve both Scola, VSE and the Varese nel Cuore Consortium.
The work has been intense and has been going on for some time (the table for the definition of the agreement has been set for a couple of weeks now), there is maximum secrecy for the names of the new investors for now, but the operation is so well started that an event would be scheduled in the next few days Extraordinary Board of Directorsa decisive step for defining the deal.
