Music Festival at the State Archives of Rovigo

ROVIGO – On 21 June 2024 on the occasion of the Music Festival theState Archives of Rovigo in collaboration with the Francesco Venezze Conservatory of Music in Rovigo organize a musical event from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm at the Sala Sichirollo of the State Archives in via Sichirollo 11 in Rovigo.

This year the theme of the event is dedicated to musical bands with the title “We are the first orchestra”.

Thanks to the ongoing synergy with the Rovigo Conservatory, one of the most prestigious Italian and internationally renowned conservatories, we wanted on a smaller scale to offer the public the opportunity to listen to an ensemble made up of very young and talented musicians. The repertoire they offer us is very varied and ranges from ancient music with Luis De Narvaez, a composer from the 1500s, to the more modern Heitor Villa Lobos, an eclectic Brazilian composer, passing from the romantic music of Fernando Sor and Ferdinando Carulli up to the composer and trumpeter contemporary, Michel Rondeau, whose music ranges from chamber pieces to real orchestral symphonies and many of his compositions have a didactic character, the Suite which will be performed on a stylistic level takes up the dances of the Baroque period.
