L’AQUILA – “We inform you with great satisfaction that following the assembly vote on 12 June, the outgoing president was reconfirmed by the Assembly Giulia Tomassi driving theUrban Center L’Aquila. Together with the president, between planning continuity and innovation, all the statutory bodies were elected. In an always relaxed and collaborative climate, which has distinguished Tomassi’s presidency from the first moment, the Urban Center L’Aquila continues its incessant activity at the service of the city”. This is what the Urban Center L’Aquila Association said in a statement.
“I thank the entire Assembly for the trust and esteem that it continues to give me, I thank the outgoing Scientific Committee and the new forces that have made themselves available to create the team that will support me in the next phases”, states the president.
“Once again all people committed to the territory and active for the physical and social rebirth of our city. Drive theUrban Center it is a constant but stimulating challenge that requires continuous commitment. I have carried out my role so far with great passion and seriousness, representing, as a citizen, our Urban Center with honesty, respect and fairness. I will continue to do so. We started from nothing, we set up everything from scratch, we work without resources, only with volunteers. The quantity, but above all the quality of the projects we boast is extraordinary, despite the objective critical issues we face every day. We have overcome very complicated situations, we still have a lot to do, but for us this is just an incentive to do better.”
