Naples. The total damage contested by the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Auditors of Campania and by the PEF Unit of the Guardia di Finanza of NAPLES to the 17 managers and former managers of the Campania Region (one of the regional councilors was in office in both periods examined) is of 3,688,177.41 euros.
As regards the facts, the period from May 1st 2019 to April 30th 2021, a total of 1,485,150 euros would have gone to the secretariat managers, 489,129 euros to the administrative coordinators, for a total of 1,974,279 euros .
The alleged perpetrators of this damage to the treasury are accused of conduct characterized by gross gross negligence.
Below are the individual complaints to those who were summoned by the investigators to provide an explanation regarding the conduct contested during the period of dispute: Rosa D’Amelio (at the time president of the Regional Council) 20% of the ascertained damage, for 394,855, 80 euros; Antonio Marciano (regional councilor at the time) equal to 10% of the damage ascertained for 197,427.9 euros; Massimo Grimaldi (regional councilor) equal to 20% of the damage ascertained for 394,855.8 euros; Vincenzo Maraio (regional councilor at the time) equal to 5% of the damage ascertained for 98,713.95 euros; Flora Beneduce (former regional councilor) equal to 10% of the damage ascertained for 197,427.9 euros; Ermanno Russo (former regional councilor) equal to 5% of the damage ascertained for 98,713.95 euros; Tommaso Casillo (former regional councilor) equal to 5% of the damage ascertained for 98,713.95 euros; Santa Brancati (at the time general secretary manager) equal to 10% of the damage ascertained for 197,427.9 euros; Lucio Varriale (regional employee) equal to 15% of the damage ascertained for 296,141.85 euros.
Compared to the time interval from 1 May 2021 to 31 December 2022, a total of 1,713,898.41 euros would have been paid: a total of 1,267,882 euros would have been paid to the secretariat managers, while the administrative coordinators would have received 446,016.41 euros. The current president of the Campania Regional Council Gennaro Oliviero is accused of being responsible for 45% of the total quota, for 771,254.28 euros; Loredana Raia (regional councilor) the share equal to 5% of the damage determined, equal to 85,694.92 euros; Valeria Ciarambino (regional councilor) the share equal to 5% of the damage determined, equal to 85,694.92 euros; Andrea Volpe (regional councilor) for the share equal to 5% of the damage determined, equal to 85,694.92 euros; Fulvio Frezza (regional councilor) for the share equal to 5% of the damage determined, equal to 85,694.92 euros; Alfonso Piscitelli (regional councilor) for the share equal to 5% of the damage determined, equal to 85,694.92 euros; Massimo Grimaldi (regional councilor) for the share equal to 10% of the damage determined, equal to 171,389.84 euros; Mario Vasco (secretary in some of the resolutions under investigation) for the share equal to 10% of the damage determined, equal to 171,389.84 euros; Maria Salerno (general director of human, financial and instrumental resources) for the share equal to 10% of the damage determined, equal to 171,389.84 euros.
