The decree for the seizure of the archaeological finds was issued by the Court of Trapani against the trafficker who had already had numerous assets confiscated due to his links with Cosa Nostra and his business with the mafia family of Castelvetrano, in the Trapani area.

The works of art will be entrusted for safekeeping to the Superintendency of Cultural and Environmental Heritage in order to make them accessible to the community again.
