Ravenna chooses to tell its story with the web series formula: ten video episodes to promote the city through the eyes of five girls of different nationalities and cultures, who for study reasons have chosen this area as a space for professional and human growth.
The episodes, lasting approximately 4 minutes each, will be published every fortnight on the Ravenna Tourism YouTube channel and on the Turismo.ra.it website from today, 12 June to 30 October. The web series will also be promoted on social channels and supported by a digital campaign on the Google and Meta platforms. The protagonists travel along ten exploratory itineraries, two for each, immersing themselves in the urban fabric, interacting with the environment and people and discovering the beauties of the city and its surroundings, with a single objective: to tell the story of Ravenna
through its “textures”, its surfaces, from the cobblestones of the streets of the center to the details of the mosaics.

To further strengthen communication on the threshold of the summer season, the new portal dedicated to Ravenna Città del Mosaico is also online: the website – www.ravennacittadelmoisaico.itcreated for the Municipality’s Tourism Service thanks to the extraordinary financing of
Ministry of Tourism as part of the project for the valorization of cities with UNESCO sites – it is a showcase of continuously updated useful information, an advanced reference point for understanding the reality of the mosaic.

The tourism communication and promotion strategy adopted by the Municipality in the last 12 months has achieved excellent results in terms of visibility, explain the promoters, starting with the ‘#IovadoaRavenna’ campaign, launched last year immediately following the flood, with an advert television broadcast on La7 and 150 passages from 19 June to 1 July. Between the summer of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, the communication effort then concentrated on the Ravenna Città del Mosaico project, with social campaigns dedicated to the various initiatives planned.
