Viva! Festival, the best international electronic music arrives in Puglia

It will be the first time in Puglia and Southern Italy for Air and the only opportunity to see Underworld in Italy this summer. And also the live shows of Shygirl, Venerus, Dardust and the Blaze DJ set. The appointment is from 1 to 4 August in Valle D’Itria

The Viva! Festival, consolidated over the years as one of the most important festivals of the Italian summer and a cultural reference point for Puglia, will return again this year for its eighth edition. The festival will be held from 1st to 4th August in the splendid setting of the Itria Valley, and more precisely in the Valle d’Itria Arena built right next to the ancient village of Locorotondo, in the heart of that natural oasis and in the landscaped point more beautiful, for an edition focused on international contemporary music, in particular electronic music.

The choice is clear starting from the two brightest names in the lineup, Air and Underworld. On August 2nd, Air – who are performing in southern Italy and Puglia for the first time in their career – will bring the cultured and sensual electronic sound of their most important album to Valle D’Itria, Moon Safarithe 1998 classic which contains the French duo’s most important song Sexy Boy. On that evening the stage will be shared with the live shows of Dardust, who after opening for Lana Del Rey in Milan returns with an electronic set, and Godblesscomputers, as well as the DJ of another French duo, the Blaze, and Giulia Tess.

On the 3rd it will be the turn of another famous couple from the world of electronic music, specifically English, Underworld for the only Italian date of their summer. Karl Hyde and Rick Smith thus celebrate the 30th anniversary of their ’94 cult hit Dubnobasswithmyheadmanwhich contained memorable tracks such as Dark & ​​Long And Spoonman. On the same day there will be the opportunity to discover the new Club Shy of another sensation english, Shygirl, la Magical Music by Venerus, and the rhythms of three truly intriguing DJs and producers like Logic1000, Whitemary and Nooriyah.

On the beaches of Savelletri di Fasano, however, it will take place Brand New, the new format designed by Viva! Festival to enhance the talents of the peninsula, which on August 1st will host performances by Dov’è Liana, Elasi and Thru Collected. The electronic producer Giorgia Angiuli will instead be a guest at the Unusual breakfast 2024, an unmissable event that has now become a distinctive feature of the festival.
