One year after the death of Sandro Ambrosi, entrepreneur and historic president of the Bari Chamber of Commerce who died in June 2023, Confcommercio Bari-BAT promotes the national award for young businesses in the South named after him.
«This prestigious recognition – writes Confcommercio Bari in a note – was established to honor the memory and associative example of Alessandro Ambrosi, and to select and promote the best corporate experiences and practices in Southern Italy which have contributed to spreading the values of environmental sustainability, social responsibility and inclusion”.
The Award, now in its second edition, is intended for new generations of entrepreneurs, self-employed workers and professionals from Southern Italy who have distinguished themselves for their commitment to sustainability and innovation, and designed to enhance business stories that can represent a example at both local and national levels.
The words of the president
As the president of Confcommercio Bari-BAT, Vito D’Ingeo, explains, this recognition represents more than a simple prize. It’s a way to continue to celebrate the life and legacy of a man who dedicated his life to making a difference. “We all owe him a lot and it is a way for him to be remembered and appreciated above all by the new generations.”
The memory of Ambrosi
Sandro Ambrosi, Confcommercio further underlines, is remembered with affection and respect for his commitment to making “every place a home and every group of people a family”.
