Vicenza, captain Golemic’s letter: “We want to celebrate and win with you fans: together we will achieve greatness”

Vicenza captain Vladimir Golemic wrote a letter on Instagram dedicated to staff, teammates and fans, reviewing the season that has just ended and with hopes for the future

Heartbroken but proud

We experienced a beautiful season finale, an incredible emotion, an energy and enthusiasm that few places can offer. This must be the basis from which to start again, because we want revenge, to celebrate with you, to win. The last match didn’t end the way we wanted. We gave everything we had, fought until the final whistle and left everything on the pitch. Losing the final is difficult, but it is in these moments that we grow stronger together.

To my incredible teammates, I am extremely proud of each and every one of you. You are wonderful, I really love you so much.

This season has been a journey of ups and downs, and through it all, we have stood together. I’m so sorry I left you in the most important match.

Seeing you give everything on the pitch and go beyond all limits, even risking your own health to win, shows that you are real men and splendid people.
