Urso: “Maserati will be one of the strong elements of the company’s production on international markets”
The sixth meeting for the analysis of the production plants of Stellantis in Italy, focused on the Emilia-Romagna plants, that of Maserati a Modena and that of VM a One hundred (Fe).
The table, chaired by Minister Adolfo Urso, saw the participation of representatives of the Stellantis Group, the Emilia-Romagna Region, Anfia (National Association of the Italian Automotive Supply Chain) and trade union organisations.
“Maserati will be one of the strong elements of Stellantis production in international markets. We asked the company to strengthen the research and development center in Modena, to guarantee the extraordinary supply chain also in the new electric models and to maintain employment levels”, he underlined Ursus.
“I believe in the possibility that in that plant the path of electric models will be developed on the one hand, and that of endothermic models on the other. We are firmly convinced that this vision of technological neutrality must characterize the work of the next European Commission and other institutions in determining environmental sustainability, but at the same time also economic and social sustainability” the Minister then concluded.
