The “G. Caruano” of Vittoria stood out in the national “Class Recycling” competition, promoted by Conai and the newspaper Corriere della Sera. The students of classes 3°C, 4°C and 4°B of the L. Radice plexus obtained a prestigious 2nd place, emerging among over a thousand participating Italian schools. The jury, made up of experts, was fascinated by the creativity, friendliness and originality of the projects presented. Through videos, drawings, stories, theaters and shows, the young students showed off all their imagination, illustrating the behaviors necessary to contribute to the well-being of the planet. This morning, the mayor Francesco Aiello, accompanied by the councilor for Public Education Francesca Corbino, met the young students at Palazzo Iacono to congratulate them on the important goal achieved. “The enthusiasm and commitment of these kids in pursuing Healthy, constructive goals are truly admirable. We are proud of the flattering result that has projected the city of Victoria beyond the Strait. Keep it up, guys!” commented the Councilor for Public Education Francesca Corbino. “In Vittoria we have a wonderful school, capable of addressing and raising awareness of various problems that help reflect and improve our community. You young people are the witnesses of our future. I am proud of all of you and your teachers, who push you to do more and more and better” declared the mayor Francesco Aiello.
