L‘Ascoli will return to challenge the Perugia in the 2024/2025 Serie C championship (the three groups will be made official in the coming weeks). In the 2022/2023 season, in Serie B, the Bianconeri lost the first leg 1-0 at the “Curi” (deciding goal by Luca Strizzolo) and won 1-0 on 11 February 2023 in the return match at the “Del Duca” ” thanks to Michele Collocolo (Roberto Breda and Fabrizio Castori were on the bench). At the end of that tournament Grifone were relegated to Serie C.
