Venice Gap-Financing Market, line-up revealed

34 feature film and documentary projects, 16 Immersive projects and 8 Biennale College – Immersive projects. They are the numbers of11th edition of Venice Gap-Financing Market (August 30th September 1, 2024), organized within the Venice Production Bridgewhich will take place during81st International Film Festival (28 August – 7 September 2024) of Venice Biennale.

THE selected projects from Europe and all over the world they will now be able to complete their financing through one-to-one meetings with international professionals.

In total they were almost received 320 projects and the selection reflects the great diversity of backgrounds, stories and talents, genres and budgets of the projects submitted.

In 2024 i VPB Focus they will be Luxembourg & Wallonia – Brussels supported by Film Fund Luxembourg and Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel and the Japan supported by JETRO.

The Venice Gap-Financing Market will organize meetings between the teams (made up of producer and director) of the 61 projects and professionals with decision-making power (producers, private and public financiers, banks, distributors, sales agents, televisions, streamers, VOD platforms, institutions, post-production companies production…).

All meetings will be held at the Venice Production Bridge locations (Hotel Excelsior and the Venice Immersive island) and will be organized via the Venice Production Bridge website.

34 SELECTED FILM AND DOCUMENTARY PROJECTS

Fiction Films: 27 projects (19 European and 8 from all over the world) who must complete the financial package with minority co-production shares, and who already have 70% of the financing secured.

Documentaries: 7 projects (4 European and 3 from all over the world) narrative or creative (which satisfy the same conditions as the fiction films mentioned above).

Included in this line-up are projects by VPB Focus 2024 Luxembourg & Wallonia-Brussels and Japan .
