A campaign in Ravenna to collect medical supplies for Cameroon

The non-profit organization Cuore e Territorio together with the Romagna Local Health Authority have started a campaign to collect medical material destined for Douala 5 in Cameroon.

It was discussed during a meeting in the Municipality of Ravenna between the councilor for Immigration Federica Moschini, Heart and Territory, Terzo Mondo Odv and the Pimagus Srl company. From 5 to 12 April, the Pimagus company with the engineer Pietro Renzi and the surveyor Matteo Morgese, together with Charles Tchameni from the Third World, were in Cameroon on a humanitarian trip.

“We were happy to meet the municipal administration to convey with satisfaction, enthusiasm and emotion the humanitarian adventure passed in Cameroon, covering the national triangle from the coast to the west passing through the center of the country, meeting entrepreneurs and top authorities of each locality to exchanges regarding eminent necessary needs, the promotion of Made in Italy and bringing comfort, smiles and hope to populations for the daily improvement of their living conditions, starting from health”.

The meeting was an opportunity to summarize and structure a series of initiatives that will take place in the city with the aim of strengthening and concretizing the relationship of cooperation, friendship and cordiality that historically exists between Cameroon, the municipality of Ravenna, the Ravenna civil society and the Emilia-Romagna region.
